After almost a decade in operation this business had built a solid reputation for superior customer service and technical capability, albeit to a limited customer base. Due to a lack of a proactive outbound sales and marketing campaign, it had struggled to fully capitalise on this reputation or to reach the revenue potential. Further challenges were presented by seasonality in trade, finding and retaining good staff and maintaining profitability in a competitive market.

Over the course of more than 12 months, many initiatives have been completed.
